Echoworx Launches Encrypted Message eXchange

A secure web-based portal, leveraging Echoworx industry trusted PKI encryption technology to exchange and store data.

San Francisco, CA - RSA February 5, 2006 - Echoworx Corporation, a leading provider of security software products for digital communications, has announced a new product, Encrypted Message eXchange^TM (EMX). EMX is designed for organizations that want to enable customers and partners to communicate securely using a private label secure web-based environment. EMX is easily branded with the organizations logo and is a fully hosted solution, which does not require any investment in hardware or software.

Once a member is registered with EMX, they can send and receive encrypted messages and attachments, using their own mailbox within EMX member community. The EMX experience ensures confidential and sensitive information such as financial records, employment contracts, client information, intellectual property, legal contracts can be read, exchanged and stored using the EMX secure web-based portal.

Key to the Encrypted Message eXchange is the fact that messages are encrypted using industry trusted standards public key infrastructure (PKI) and S/MIME for strong encryption and digital signature. Messages are signed and encrypted so that only the intended recipient inside the community is permitted to view and reply to messages.
