Echoworx, a leading provider of credential management and managed encryption services opens its Security Cloud to the industry at large.

For the first time ever, this world class PKI Infrastructure can be accessed by organizations that require an easy and cost effective way to add credentials and encryption to their applications. They simply plug into the cloud to enable PKI (public key infrastructure) integration over multiple platforms and devices.

Just like organizations are tapping into the cloud for storage services and file sharing services, they can now do the same for credential management.

The Echoworx Security Cloud is a proven software-as-a-service offering and encompasses five elements:

Key Services – Key Service creates the user credentials (or keys) during the registration process. It manages the keys and enables “roaming” so users can use the same credential across multiple devices, and enables password recovery.

Trust Services – Looks up the credentials to see if the person has a valid and verifiable credential. This is crucial to ensure that the person is who they say they are, and can be compared to showing a valid driver’s license as proof of identity.

Admin Services –Through the administration interface administrators can delete and create new enterprises, bulk enroll employees, set rules for email notifications, and renew, suspend and recover keys as required.

Branding Services: Partners, resellers and customers benefit from customized and dynamic branding. Customized branding includes the branding of email notifications and branding within the message pickup center. Dynamic branding is used by resellers who manage more than one enterprise.

Messaging Services: Allows users to send and receive encrypted messages across multiple platforms and devices. For non-registered users who do not have their own credential (i.e. people outside of the internal environment) it includes a secure message pickup center.

The Echoworx Security Cloud therefore:
