Data Encryption and Delivery Process Flow

Messages and documents can be sent from existing systems using the application programming interface (API) or on an ad hoc basis through the administrative console.

Once the encrypted document is sent the EDP server intelligently determines the best method of delivery based on who the messsage is being sent to.

Users can receive the encrypted contents in the following ways:

• as an encrypted document delivered via SSL channel to desktop;
• as an S/MIME message delivered directly to inbox; or
• as an S/MIME notification with pickup at secure web portal.
