Encrypted Message Exchange - Web Portal Encryption Diagram

Encrypted Message eXchange is accessed using any standard desktop or mobile web browser via a 128-bit SSL connection. The EMX environment can reside on-premises within your existing IT infrastructure or can be run as a managed service from one of our high-availability data centers in Canada, the United States or Europe.

EMX simplifies the experience of sending digitally signed and encrypted messages by relying on transparent key look-up and exchange functions to automatically determine which users are subscribers and which users are not.

To send a message the user logs in, composes and sends the message as they normally would.

Users with standard S/MIME certificates receive the encrypted message directly to their inbox. EMX users or non-subscribers receive a signed notification message with a link to the EMX portal to collect their message.
