How we use your data

Visitors to our website

While using the Website, you may be asked to voluntarily provide certain personal information such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, and telephone number. It is always your choice whether or not to provide personal information. Service Providers

When someone visits Echoworx.com we use a third party service provider – Google Analytics – to collect information about how users are using our website. Echoworx also uses the services of Hubspot and LeadLander to identify user’s organizations and to provide insight to what content they are consuming.

Job Applicants

Once a user submits a job application on this website, we be submitted to our HR department and the hiring manager. It will be used for the purpose of evaluating the individual for the position that they have applied for. We will use this information in accordance with our standard HR practices.   Disclosure of such information is limited to those performing functions in the hiring process, and the information is protected and stored securely.

Customers submitting a support ticket

Customers who use this site to create a support ticket will have an existing contract with Echoworx that includes confidentiality clauses. The information entered into the support ticket form is sent to our support team and is handled according to our contractual obligations.

People who request information

Users who request information through the “Contact Sales” form or other mechanisms through the website will be asked to enter contact details to identify themselves. This information will be passed to our sales team who will follow up with the user to answer any questions that they might have. The contact form information is stored in Hubspot and populated to Salesforce for followup.

Use of cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on a users computer to keep track of information such as any preferences that they set on a website. Web beacons or web bugs are elements on a web page that link back to a third party site.

Echoworx does not set cookies for visitors to the Echoworx.com website. However, we do use tracking technologies as described above to gain insight into the visitors of the website and their use of the website.

Data retention

Echoworx stores the data collected from this website for periods of time relevant to the use for which it was collected. Customer contact information is kept for the duration of the contract with the customer, and afterwards to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Information submitted on contact forms is kept for as long as there is a valid purpose for it. Periodic purging of such data occurs at various intervals.

Opt-Out

Should you wish to opt out of receiving information, please e-mail our Privacy Manager or use the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any communications sent to you. If you do opt out, Echoworx will keep a record of the contact details so that we can track who has opted out and ensure that we do not inadvertently send you future information.
